BROWN PAPER GROCERY BAGS

Accepted for curbside recycling. Fold and place inside another paper grocery bag.

CARDBOARD

Should be flattened to 2' x 2' or smaller and put in curbside recycling.

PAPERBOARD (such as cereal boxes)
Accepted for curbside recycling. Remove all food, packing material (cereal liners can be placed with plastics for recycling), or badly stained items. Flatten and stuff tightly into the biggest paperboard box or a brown paper bag and fasten securely with string.

DO NOT INCLUDE: MILK CARTONS, DRINK BOXES AND ORANGE JUICE CARTONS as they are wax coated and cannot be recycled!

IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS

Don't just throw your important documents in the trash. Take them to be shredded and help prevent identity theft.

Before putting books and magazines in your recycle cart we suggest you contact the Shelby Township Library  for details on which one(s) they may accept.
