Friends of the Shelby Township Library

The Friends of the Shelby Township Library is an independent non-profit library support organization that fundraises for the library. These funds afford the library an opportunity to purchase collections and furniture, schedule innovative programming and offer new services which help make the Shelby Township Library a stronger presence in our community.

The Friends of the Library meet at 9:30 a.m. on the third Thursday of the month, January through October, in the library at 51680 Van Dyke Ave. Newcomers are always welcome. Members of the Friends pay small yearly membership dues, and Friends volunteers run year-round book sales that add up to a significant source of support for our local hometown library. Consider joining the Friends today by filling out a registration form here.
