Our second May lunch bunch will take us to beautiful Belle Isle. We’ll take a guided tour of the Anna Scripps Whitcomb Conservatory, which opened in 1904. It is the oldest continually operating conservatory in the United States. After, we’ll take a driving tour of the island before departing for lunch at Waves in St. Clair Shores. Please choose from chicken bibb salad, lake perch, chicken piccata, or paradise burger at the restaurant. Finally, we’ll make a stop at Erma’s Frozen Custard on the way home. The cost includes bus transportation, guided tour of the conservatory, and lunch. Erma’s is on your own.
