Annual Clean Up Day April 27, 2013

CLEANUP DAY AIDES—The Shelby Gardeners Club played a support role in a Shelby Township Cleanup Day project Saturday, April 27. Hundreds of volunteers and Scouts picked up seed packets and appreciation certificates after they registered at the community’s Senior Center in the morning.

Upon returning to the Center after their pickup route on Dequindre between 23-25 Mile Road had been completed, Boy Scout Troup 208 dad and son, l.-r. Joe Romzek and Joseph “”Seth” Romzek, were served pizza by Gardeners Linda Pelloni, Dee Osler, Phyllis Hamilton, June Allen and Donna Sullivan.
