Reports and General Information:  9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday - Thursday

Accident Reports: Accident reports taken prior to January 1, 2009, until November 29, 2009, may possibly be obtained through the Michigan State Police.  Please see the state police web site for further direction (www.michigan.gov/msp).  Accident reports that were taken after January 1, 2009, may possibly still be obtained through the Records Bureau.  Please contact Records to see if the report is available.   Accident Reports taken after November 30, 2009, may be obtained at the Records Bureau or online at CLEMIS.

Report Fee:  The fee for an accident report is $10 at the Records Bureau.  You may also purchase your accident report online for $14.  Please follow the CLEMIS link for instructions.  
 
General Police (Incident) Reports/Dispatch Run (Call for Service) Sheets -  A FOIA Request Form must be submitted when requesting copies of police incident reports and/or dispatch run sheets.  Please review the instructions on the Human Resources web page (under Forms) for further guidance and the online FOIA Request Form.  If you wish to download a printable form to drop off or mail to the police department, click this link -- Printable FOIA Form
