PRELIMINARY BREATH TEST -- P.B.T.

SERVICE FEE IMPLEMENTATION

Attention citizens who use the Shelby Township Police Department for P.B.T !!

The Shelby Township Police Department charges a $10 service fee (cash only) for each P.B.T. administered.

Citizens requiring a P.B.T. must purchase a "voucher" from the Records Bureau and must present the "voucher" at the Police Department Front Desk prior to the P.B.T. being administered.

"Vouchers" may be purchased for a fee of $10 per test (cash only) requested at the Records Bureau Counter during the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday ONLY !!!.

P.B.T. "vouchers" will NOT be available for purchase on weekends and will NOT be available after 4:30 p.m. weekdays.

The Police Department administers P.B.T. to citizens with "vouchers" 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.
