Zoning Ordinance Text Amendments

Attached are a series of proposed amendments to the Zoning Ordinance that will be considered by the Planning Commission at a public hearing scheduled for Monday, February 14, 2010 at 7:00 p.m.

These amendments represent the Planning and Zoning Department’s ongoing effort to improve and refine the Zoning Ordinance to improve its clarity and to provide increased administrative flexibility wherever appropriate.

Text to be replaced is noted with ~~strikeouts~~ and text to be added is noted with red type. Following each proposed amendment is a commentary explaining the basis for the change. These changes are shown in shaded italicized text.
