The Cable TV Department of Shelby Township operates three local channels on the Comcast Cable System and two local channels on the Wide Open West System. Shelby TV programming may be seen throughout Shelby Township and the City of Utica. Shelby TV reaches over 22,000 households in these areas.
The Cable TV Department of Shelby Township is funded through Cable TV Franchise Fees paid to the Township by Cable TV subscribers. The Franchise Fee represents 5% of each subscriber's bill.
Shelby TV will answer questions related to the township's Cable TV Franchise Agreements and will help to resolve disputes between the Cable TV companies and their respective customers.
